Frequently asked questions
What do I need to send you?
Your records and books for the period you want covered: whatever you use to keep track of the business, such as ledgers, spreadsheets, invoices, receipts, sales exports or job records.
If you have no bookkeeping records or organized data, send the raw data you have. We work on it at no extra charge.
Everything is sent through a secure upload link.
How long does a report take?
Monthly reports and quarterly reviews are usually delivered within 5–10 business days of receiving your complete records. A 12-month review usually takes 10–15 business days.
If your records need organizing first, we'll give you a timeline with your quote.
Do I need accounting software?
No. Your existing records and books are enough to start. If they are not organized, we work from your raw data at no extra charge.
Do I need a budget or plan to use Qista?
No. Many businesses don't have one. We'll compare your results against previous months instead.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There is no setup fee, and no extra charge for working from raw or unorganized data.
Is my data safe?
Your files are stored securely, with restricted access, in a business account protected by multi-factor sign-in. They are shared only with you, never through "anyone with the link" sharing. Your data is never sold or shared. Read how we protect your data.
Are you an accountant? Can you do my taxes?
No. Qista is not an accounting or CPA firm. We do not provide tax filing, tax advice, payroll, audits, or official financial statements for banks or investors.
Qista reports are prepared from the records you supply and are for management insight: to help you understand and run your business.
What if my business is bigger?
Larger and more complex businesses are welcome. Send us a message and we will give you a quote for your business.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, anytime. Cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. Your current month's report will still be delivered.
