One Financial Performance Report, five clear views of your business

Qista turns your records and books into a single, plain-English report on how your business is performing. Every figure is checked by hand.

The Financial Performance Report

What your report contains

Each report covers the period you choose, and closes with plain-English observations on what changed and what to watch.

Profit and loss

  • Income against costs for the period.
  • Whether the business made or lost money, and where.

Sales

  • Revenue by month, by product or service, and by customer.
  • Your best and worst sellers.
  • Your slow periods.

Variance

  • Planned against actual figures each month, by category.
  • Overspending flagged.
  • No budget or plan? That's fine. We compare each month against your past results instead.

Job profit

  • For each job: what you charged against what it actually cost in materials and labor.
  • Which job types make money, and which lose it.

Cash flow

  • Money in against money out each month, with a trend chart.
  • Every transaction sorted into categories, with the largest costs and anything that jumped flagged.

  2. We build and check

We organize your figures, build your report, and check every figure by hand before it reaches you.

  3. You receive your report

You get a clear, plain-English report, plus a short call to walk through it if you would like one.

What Qista is not

Qista provides management reporting. It is not an accounting or CPA firm.

  • No payroll.
  • No audits.
  • No official financial statements for banks or investors.

Reports are prepared from the records you supply and are for management insight: to help you understand and run your business.
